Choose a location with your provider
Ask the rental company how much room the delivery truck needs, including overhead clearance and space to unload the container. Share photos of your driveway or work area when possible.
Clear the access route
Move vehicles and loose items before the delivery window. Keep children and pets away from the work area. Ask whether surface protection is recommended for your driveway and who supplies it.
Check placement requirements
If you plan to place the container on a street or other public area, check the applicable local requirements before delivery. Your rental company may be able to point you toward the right local office.
Plan for pickup
Keep access clear throughout the rental. Follow the provider’s loading directions, stay below the fill line, and keep prohibited materials out. Confirm how to request pickup and whether someone needs to be present.
